A party that believes it has been the victim of fraud can seek remedy through a High Court claim for damages.

Very often, the first a Defendant to such a claim will know of it is when they are served with one of more of the following court orders:

  • An Order for the search of premises permitting seizure of documents
  • A Freezing Order restricting what one can do with their assets
  • A Delivery Up / Disclosure Order requiring the production of documents and information
When such orders are served on a party time is of the essence.

Andrews Angel Solicitors will be able to advise on initial steps to be taken and how to respond. Often, it may be possible to successfully have these orders set aside. If not, expert representation may enable time limits for compliance to be extended or greater funds released for day to day living whilst the case continues.

After these initial stages, Andrews Angel Solicitors is able to provide representation in the substantive proceedings.
